Description from the Publisher
Easyly backup your data files, automatically distribute master folders to several destinations, keep data folders of laptops and workstations identical. Used as a bi-directional synchronizing tool, Idem controls that the latest version of each file in folders is always available on both locations. Idem can also replicate files and folders security information and attributes. You can choose to sync permissions or not. System administrators with both PCs and Macs will appreciate its capability to synchronize Macintosh files on Windows NTFS volumes preserving Macintosh filenames and structures on a Windows NT 4.0 / 2000 server running MacFile/SFM (Services For Macintosh) or a MacFile/SFM compatible server as MacServerIP. It can also rename moved Macintosh files, substituting a dash to the forbidden Windows characters in their names. You may use Idem as an application or as a Windows NT/2000 service. Your Site License entitles you to install Idem in as many laptops, workstations or servers you need inside a geographical site of your company/organization. You can synchronize a laptop on a network, replicate data between servers, refresh a target folder with last updates from source directories.
