The gaze heat map is based on recording the eye movements when looking straight to a fixed point. The applications you create require the usage of a webcam, situated in a fixed position, near the screen, that can record the eye movement during the tests.
The gaze tracking sessions can be represented as a heat map, drawn over websites, applications, video games or static images. They indicate the intensity of the eye movement in particular spots.
The afferent documentation of the SDK contains instructions regarding the proper positioning of the webcam compared to the screen. For accurate results, you need to establish the indicated distance from the eye, the size of the monitor or webcam recording settings.
