Description from the Publisher

Wake-On-LAN Sender is a Windows application that allows remote computers to be turned on.

Wake-On-LAN Sender can be used to turn on remote computers sending magic packets (UDP). This freeware utility also allows to identify MAC addresses of LAN computers. It also sends a magic packet using command line parameters: /hostname, if hostname is already configured. For example, "C:\Program Files\Alexander Yarovy\Wake-On-LAN Sender\WakeOnLan.exe" /My Home Computer.

A magic packet is an UDP packet that contains an adapter's MAC address repeated 16 times in the data field. When an adapter receives a magic packet containing its own MAC address, it activates the computer's power.
